I'm Here!

Internet time is at a premium, so this will be short (I need to share with the rest of the team). We have arrived safely in Santa Rosa del Sara, Bolivia. We are truly in the middle of nowhere. The weather is quite hot during the day, but the evening is pleasant. We have had our orientation to the hospital and have sorted supplies. We start seeing patients in the morning and start OR cases tomorrow afternoon. This is the first MMI project in this town and they will be the first operations performed at this hospìtal. Needless to say we are short on supplies and using almost entirely what we have brought and what MMI already had on the ground in Bolivia. That said, it looks like it will be sufficient for the type of operations we have planned.
